It is distinctive in that it is technically located within the waters itself, instead of on the mainland. Florum is a series of jagged rock spines connected with loose bridges. Houses, shops, guilds, they're all built vertically along the rock-faces. Florum is the premier staging point for all things arcane in [[Erebus]]. It hosts two different magical academies, known jointly as the [[Academe Florumis]]. The Academe is composed of the [[Warcaster's Guild]] for [[Sorcerers]] and the [[Astra Arcanum]] for [[Wizards]]. [[Exarch Hale]], the leader of Calder, has permanent residence here.
