Many discuss the appearance of [[Odurne]] and its consequences on [[Erebus]] at large, but few discuss the lapse in mortality the the world experienced as a side effect. Hence, the dead walking amongst the living. It's not a perfect process, mind you. Not all who die are destined to rise again. Few are chosen for this hemorrhage in life's natural cycle, fewer still are able to adequately make use of their newfound immortality. The undead are difficult to discern from average flesh and blood mortals. They makeup all races, with little distinguishing features. Look close at the eyes if you want to know, the undead have had the color drained from their ocular veins.
