To find an elf that has left the [[Ascalonian Empire]] behind is a rare thing indeed. Still, it happens from time to time, and the now-wandering elf will find themselves at the forefront of discrimination when traveling, with many often assuming the worst intentions on their behalf. Elves are skilled fighters and mystics, making up the upper echelons of the Ascalonian Army. A one on one fight with an Elf is a very frightening prospect to other soldiers, as they oft favor guerrilla tactics and irregular approaches to battling. It is believed that the infamous cult-leader and legendary knight-warrior known as [[The Rival]] is an elf.
