The Shortwars lasted a measly three years, with Paignia suffering severe losses after being entirely outgunned by Odurne's superior technological prowess. The Shortwars are unique in that it was the one and only time that Paignia and the [[Ascalonian Empire]] banded together to fight a joint war.
